Cascade Log Homes is a family owned and operated business located in the heart of Montana. We use quality, full-length logs that are harvested in Montana. The variety of logs commonly used are: Lodge pole, Spruce, Fir, and Tamarack. All of the logs are hand peeled and scribed with attention to detail for the tightest fit possible.
A log shell consisits of the log walls, log gables and trusses (if indicated on the plans), and the purlins (logs supporting the roof).A standard log package includes: purchasing and hand peeling suitable logs, manufacturing the log shell to your plan specification, shipping the building to your foundation site, assisiting in the re-assembly, and cutting out the door and window openings. An enclosed package includes bids for the doors, windows, and roof.
